Meaning & History
From the Japanese kanji 日 (hi) meaning "sun, sunny, day, fire" or 緋 (hi) meaning "scarlet" combined with 渚 (nagi) meaning "strand, beach, shore", 凪 (nagi) meaning "calm", 和 (nagi) meaning "harmony, Japanese style, peace, soften, Japan". It can also be a combination of three kanji: 日 (hi) or 緋 (hi) combined with 成 (na) meaning "turn into, become, get, grow, elapse, reach" and 銀 (gi) meaning "silver". Other Kanji combinations are also possible.
