Sir Henry Merrivale (known to those close to him as H.M.) is a fictional amateur detective / barrister / government operative, created by mystery author John Dickson Carr under the pseudonym of Carter Dickson. H.M. works for a dilapidated espionage department in Westminster, but spends much of his time aiding his friend Chief Inspector Masters in puzzling cases which seem to be impossible. From a fraudulent medium killed in a shed with its door locked on both sides, barred windows, and no footprints in the mud around it all next to a haunted house; to a stabbing done by an apparently invisible killer and weapon in front of witnesses at a French chateau where a master thief is hiding; to defending a young man found in an ostensibly locked and sealed room with a man stabbed by an arrow which apparently only he could have done; and even figuring out if and how a mentalist could kill two people just by thinking them to death without a scratch; H.M.'s cases are baffling but all have a sensible explanation behind them. H.M. often speaks in slang and strange oaths like "Lord love a duck!", enjoys reading pulp fiction, actively avoids being made a member of the House of Lords, and always wears a ridiculous top hat.

I don't know if this is good for 'famous bearer', but I have noticed this is a common video game protag/antag/helpful person in game name, and thinking maybe in the namesakes that should be a category. For example, Henry Stein from the horror game BATIM, (Bendy and the Ink Machine) who is the protagonist. Also, in FNaF (Five Nights at Freddy's), the man who gives you instructions in many of the games is Henry Emily. He also plays a part in the FNaF books, and is Co-owner of the Pizzeria. I'm sure there are more.
