There is a custom on Purim (the festival commemorating the failure of his genocide, not to be confused with the many other festivals commemorating the failures of various other genocides, or for that matter the sad days commemorating the success of various genocides) to drown out Haman's name with groggers (noisemakers) or just shouting "BOO" upon hearing it.That said: My impression is that if you name your kid this, Jews are just going to assume you're an antisemite. And maybe assume that of the kid.

In Megillah 12b, it is mentioned that Haman is the same as a man called Memucan, which is derived from the Hebrew for "prepared" (according to them). I would treat that source with great caution, however.
