Gwyn

I prefer Gwen.

I know Gwyn is supposed to be a male name only, but I really only love Gwyn as a girl’s name. It’s so pretty and elegant for a girl, Gwyn. Same similarities with Gwen. I don’t see it as a boy’s name at all. Way too feminine sounding! Gwyn is such a girly name, it might be the middle name of my future daughter. I love it!

I think Gwyn would be a great feminine name as well as a masculine one. The main character in a novel I'm writing is called Gwyn (they are a male Snow White and Gwyn means "white" or "pure" like Snow). A name I would consider for a son or daughter.

My best friend's name is Gwyneth, and she's awesome! :) I like the spelling Gwyn a lot more than Gwen.

Although I don't think this is very masculine, I still LOVE the name Gwyn, would just fit better for a girl in my opinion.

This would be a good nickname for the feminine names Gwyneth, Gwyneira, or Guinevere, so to me, it sounds feminine.

A lot of people seem to think this name is very feminine sounding but I love it and have always seen it as much more of a boy's name than a girl's (though Gwyneth is nice!).
