As a Welsh person, I love this name. I've never heard it used as an actual name, but I think it's beautiful.Please take care to note it is NOT pronounced as rhyming with "weiner". I've seen some quite disrespectful comments online before saying it sounds like "weiner". It does not. Gwen rhymes with pen, NOT peen. The "-er" can be anglicised to "air", or to "ur" like in "murmur".
