I love this particular spelling of Gwendolyn/Gwendolen/Gwendoline/you know what I mean already! I find it very pretty and melodic (and it makes me think of Gwendoline Christie, who is one of my favorite actors ever). The E at the end just makes it look balanced and complete to me (I don't know exactly why, but the other spellings seem almost unfinished?). Maybe I just read Gwendoline Christie's name too often, and I've been converted to the dark side! Don't know. It's a beautiful name, regardless of the spelling (for the most part).

I'm not too much of a fan of this name as I think it's quite pompous - especially spelt Gwendoline. Gwendolen I think is better and less 'upper class' however I don't really like it anyway.

Gwendoline Christie is an English actress and model. She is known for portraying the warrior Brienne of Tarth in the HBO fantasy-drama series Game of Thrones and Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
I really like this spelling of Gwendolen, it's more widely used than the other spelling, and I think it sounds more feminine and delicate altogether. This name is also much more popular in Britain. :)
