Goronwy

Well, "coron" in Welsh means "crown," and the mutated form of coron would be goron, so the name probably has a meaning associated with rule, royalty, the court, etc.

My uncle bears this name (shortened to Gron, or Gronwy) and according to my mother it translates as "egg-head" although I can't vouch for the accuracy of that, nor if it was apt as I don't remember what he looks like!
