I love this name for someone regardless of gender! I know I'm probably going to get down-voted; but I honestly don't care. I think this is a very solid name in general. I love the nature association! Also, just say it out loud! It sounds nice, too.
Shouldn't this name be listed as "feminine" in use also? Glenn Close. Sure it's a rare usage, but it's a usage nonetheless. Perhaps at least note that it's had feminine use?
Glen Campbell, singer/guitarist, "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Wichita Lineman", etc: actor Glenn Ford; Glenn Shorrock, lead singer Little River Band: Glenn Frey, the Eagles; Glenn Miller, bandleader. Lots of music people.
Love this name. It was my grandpa's middle name and I always loved it!

This name sounds dorky and kind of old-mannish. It's not the worst name in the world, but I would never consider using it.

Used as a female name in the US in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Glen/Glenn is a strong and simple name for a baby boy, teen and grown man. Glen//Glenn sounds dreamy too. My Grandmother's name is Glennes and I like the idea of using Glenn to honor her. I would never use this for a girl though ever. Glennes and Glenda are nice choices!
Glenn Frey, American musician best known as a co-founder of the classic rock band, the Eagles.Glenn Ford, Canadian-born American actor known for starring in dramas and thrillers in the 50s.
I'd like this name except all I can think of when I hear it is Dairy Glen, the brand of milk. I know it's spelled differently, but it is still pronounced the same.
I have no idea who Glenn Beck is, so that doesn't play a role in my opinion of this name. But still, I don't really like this name. I just don't really like the sound of it.
This name sounds quite... oh, let's say "glitzy." Just because of the (in)famous bearer Glenn Beck, I would NEVER use it on a child, because to me it is synonymous with "pompous redneck idiot." Don't name your daughter this, either. It is a masculine name. I do, however, love the name Glynis (and other variants, likie Glenys or Glynnis) and think Glen is a lovely nickname for it.
I this name, as simple as it is, is actually pretty good. The only masculine names I hear these days are "John" "Michael" and "Robert" and names like that. You don't hear a name like "Glenn" everyday. I like it, and it has a nice ring to it. BUT ONLY ON A BOY! Because I've heard of parents naming their girls Glenn, and that sounds terrible on a girl. Probably the most famous bearer of the name is television/radio host Glenn Beck, known best for is libertarian/conservative political views and wanting to restore honor, integrity, and God in America.

I suppose it could be an okay name, but I either think of stupid Glenn Beck or crazy Daddy Glen from Dorothy Allison's book "Bastard out of Carolina". Not very nice namesakes, to say the least...
