I recently came across this name and realized how pretty it was. Italian names always sound beautiful. It’s very rare too, so it would also be a good pick.
A lilting tune on an astral harp, each syllable a delicate pluck which quickly fades but never disappears. Like the soft chime of wind-kissed bells, my vision is flooded with the otherworldly green luster of jade. Giada unfolds as a harmonizing choir, crafting a dance of light which mesmerizes the very fabric of the universe, prompting the stars and the planets in their alignment to hum along. As its notes linger in the celestial ether, the name, too, transforms into a galaxy woven by stardust. A refreshing, timeless beauty that will never truly go out of style.
This is my name, and yes- it is pronounced JAH-da!

I teach kindergarten English in Italy and there are THREE Giadas in total in all my classes. I like Giada SO much better than Jade and Jada and Jaden and all those names with a J. It seems like a very popular name with young kids! The name is pronounced JAH-dah, with lots of emphasis on the first syllable. There are 2 syllables, not 3! The "gi" is just like in Giovanni (jo-VAN-ni) and Giuseppe (ju-ZEP-peh.)
