I have never heard an American English speaker say this 'jə-RAYNT', more so 'GEHR-aynt'.

@JJSkeete Thank goodness- this sounds soo much better with the 'g' sound than with a 'j'. (: I'm pretty sure the 'j' pronunciation is incorrect also.

I just wanted to point out that I have NEVER in my life heard an English speaker pronounce this name "ji-RAYNT", and I hope I never do!
