Freida

Shen-Yan Freida Lim is a Singaporean diver. She qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the 10 metre platform by placing 15th at the semi-finals of the 2021 FINA Diving World Cup in the 10 metre platform event. This made her the first female Singaporean diver to qualify for the Olympics and the second ever Singaporean diver to qualify for the Olympics, following Jonathan Chan.

Freida Ruth Heighway (1907–1963) was an Australian obstetrician and gynaecologist, the first woman to graduate from Sydney University with a medical degree and the first woman admitted to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Freida High Wasikhongo Tesfagiorgis is a painter, art historian, and visual culturalist who focuses on African American, modern and contemporary African art, African Diaspora, and modern European Art and Primitivism. She is Professor Emerita, Departments of African-American Studies, Gender & Women’s Studies, and Art, University of Wisconsin-Madison. In 2021 she was the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 31st Annual James A. Porter Colloquium on African American Art at Howard University.

Freida Lee Mock is an Academy Award-winning American filmmaker, director, screenwriter and producer. She is a co-founder of the American Film Foundation with Terry Sanders. Her documentary, Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision (1994) won an Academy Award for Best Feature Documentary in 1995. Mock was the first Governor of the Documentary Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Freida Pinto is an Indian actress and model best known for her portrayal of Latika in the 2008 Academy Award winning film "Slumdog Millionaire".
