Frans

Frans Anatolius Sjöström (1840 – 1885) was a Finland Swedish architect. He was born in Turku and educated there and, in 1868, at the Royal Swedish Academy of Arts. In 1872 he designed the old building of the Helsinki University of Technology.

This is actually the name of an Undertale Ship: Sans X Frisk.

In Tonke Dragt's 'The Song of Seven', the main character is named Frans Van der Steg, although he sometimes calls himself Frans the Red.

Frans Masereel was a Flemish painter and graphic artist who worked mainly in France. He is known especially for his woodcuts. His greatest work is generally said to be the wordless novel Passionate Journey. He completed over 20 other wordless novels in his career.

Masereel's woodcuts influenced Lynd Ward and later graphic artists such as Clifford Harper and Eric Drooker.

Frans (1497-1511) was the youngest son of KIng Hans of Denmark and his wife Christina.

Frans Gunnar Bengtsson was a Swedish novelist, essayist, poet and biographer. He is best known for his Viking saga novel Röde Orm (Red Orm in English as The Long Ships). His essays are mainly about historical subjects, too.
