"Hey Flick, Flick that pebble!" Not to be mean or anything but strange name if you ask me.
I love this as a nickname for Felicity but it’s a bit strange to use it by itself in my opinion.
Flick is a red chameleon character in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He is an insect collector, and makes models of the bugs the player can catch and bring to him.
Sorta strange...
Could be a name for a cartoon character, but for a real human? It would be sort of odd...
This name is dumb and stupid.
I thought this was masculine. Reminds me of the verb anyways.
Gender: MasculineUsages: Popular Culture, LiteraturePronunciation: FLIKMeaning: Possible diminutive of FELIX. Several fictional male characters have been named Flick including a duck character in PB&J Otter; a chameleon in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and one of the characters in the book: The Sword of Shannara and in the TV spinoff: The Shannara Chronicles. This can also be a diminutive of Felix according to a random comment in THIS websitePlease DON't delete this submission.https://nookipedia.com/wiki/Flick

Aw, this is cute! I want to use this on a book character! I don’t understand all the hate Flick is getting.
I’ve heard this used as a nickname for other names similar to Felicity, such as Felix or Felicia.
Flick Ohmsford of the Shannara books, brother by adoption to Shea and great-uncle of Wil.
For some reason I thought this name was masculine.
Flick is the duck from PB&J Otter. I've never heard of this name being used as a girl's name.
Good name for a character.
A contestant on Australian Survivor's name is Felicity, but she goes by Flick. (By this comment she's still in the game...)
In the 1983 hit film "A Christmas Story," Ralphie's (Peter Billingsley) friend, a boy, bears the name "Flick" (Scott Schwartz), whom I believe was the poor soul with his tongue stuck to a flagpole.
"Hey fellas, have ya met that chick, Flick?"
This is one of the worst nicknames I've ever come across.
I think this makes a cute nickname for Felicity, but I would never use it as a full name. Come to think of it, I don't think I would ever use the name Felicity either, it's a bit cheesy and sappy, I suppose, for my tastes. Oh well, I could always use this name for a dog.
Makes me think about the verb, as well as the word for a movie.
It sounds more like a boy's name than a girl's name. And I think it's rather a better name for a pet or an animal in a story than a person.
It doesn't matter if Flick sounds like a boys name because it is to be used as a nickname, not a full name. I think it is very cute for a little Felicity.
'I'm Flick, the inventor ant!' Ring any bells?
