Eveline MacLaren (1883–1955) was one of Scotland's first women to complete her legal studies and graduate from the Faculty of Law at the University of Edinburgh in 1909 alongside Josephine Gordon Stuart. The Faculty of Law is now known as the Edinburgh Law School.At the time of graduation, Eveline was not allowed to enter the legal profession and never became a full lawyer.Eveline did however carry out business under the name 'Duncan Smith & MacLaren' at 62 Frederick Street, Edinburgh.

Eveline is the main antagonist of the horror game Resident Evil 7. She's portrayed as a little girl obsessed with families with the power of creating hive minds and strange black fungus that can turn people insane or into monsters. She is voiced by Paula Rhodes.

Eveline is the name of an absolutely beautiful song by Nickel Creek. It is implied that Eveline is going mad. In the song the name is pronounced Ev-uh-leen.
