Eurídice Moreira da Silva (5 March 1939 – 1 July 2020), better known as Eurídice Moreira or Dona Dida, was a Brazilian Politician and Professor from the state of Alagoas who represented the state of Paraíba. In 2004, she was elected Mayor of Itabaiana. Her first tenure went from 2005 to 2008.
Eurídice Pereira (born 1962) is a Portuguese politician who was trained in sociology. As a member of the Portuguese Socialist Party (PS), she was first elected as a deputy in the Portuguese Assembly of the Republic in 2009, representing Setúbal, and has been re-elected in every national election since then, including the most recent in January 2022. She has also held many other administrative and political positions.
"The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão" (Portuguese: "A Vida Invisível de Eurídice Gusmão") is a 2019 internationally co-produced drama film directed by Brazilian director Karim Aïnouz based on the 2016 novel "The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão" by Martha Batalha. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the top prize.
