Eudamidas

Means "son of Eudamos" in Greek, derived from the name Eudamos combined with ίδας (idas), which is the Aeolic and Doric Greek form of the patronymic suffix ἴδης (ides).

This name was borne by three kings of Sparta, the earliest of which lived in the 4th century BC.
