Where does this name come from? I can't find any solid information on it. Could this be a misspelling of Estiñe [ehs-TEE-nʸeh]?
I checked all three possibilities (Estiñe, Estine, Estiñne) on INE's name frequency list and none of them show up (fewer than 20 people in the entire country), so it doesn't seem to be used a proper name. Maybe as a pet form? Estiñe does show up in a few trustworthy documents listing names, including a PDF listing an actual woman called Estiñe. [this was probably a typo -ed]
