I love this pronunciation and form. Idolde is plain and dreary in a way that Eseld is dreamy and youthful.
This version of Isolde sounds lovely in English, but, once again, my native Language ruins another great name. "Esel" means donkey in Norwegian :/
I love this version of Isolde because of its lyrical sound and the fact that the world "old" isn't sandwiched in the middle.
When I fist heard this version of the name Isolde, I thought it was gorgeous. ES-eld, the pronunciation just flows. I just can't believe I'm the first one commenting!
