I am from Hungary, and I know this name. It doesn't mean "cow" at all. It means "female deer", or "golden deer" after the hungarian folks tale, where the two brothers Hunor and Magor were hunting a golden deer. The "cow" thing is probably wrongly translated, because in hungarian you call the female deer a "deer cow". But it's still a deer. [noted -ed]
I like this name! It can be Anglicized as "Eniko", would fit any culture or society. It's "cosmopolitan", I'd say. I like the "o" ending in this one. It gives that harmless "tomboyish touch" to it without making it unfeminine.
