People need to stop making assumptions on how Georgian names are pronounced. I've seen so many comments saying how to pronounce these names and they're COMPLETELY wrong! It's not en(d)-ZEL-ə, it's EHN-DZEH-LAH (without stressing any syllables and with the "dz" sounding like d͡z). EHN-DZEH-LAH. [noted -ed]

Wow, this name is beautiful. The meaning is so poetic.
To be a little bit more precise: this name is literally derived from Georgian ენძელა (Endzela) meaning "snowdrop". However, it is important to note that 'snowdrop' here actually denotes a type of plant - it has nothing to do with snow that is dropping. Just the fact alone that the Georgian word for snow - which is თოვლი (tovli) - not even remotely resembles 'Endzela', is enough of an indication that 'Endzela' doesn't really have something to do with snow. For proof of 'Endzela' actually denoting a type of plant, see here:Http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/snowdropIn other words, 'Endzela' is just the Georgian name of a plant that is known as 'snowdrop' in the English-speaking world. :) [noted -ed]
Snowdrop whispers snowy charm:
Winter's silent hymn.
