Elfa

I think hating this name is silly. Sure it sounds a little like 'elf', but I don't think it's too much of a big deal. There are worse associations out there. This was my great grandmother's name (she was not Icelandic, though). I think this name is sweet and pretty.

A girl named Elfa might be bullied or mocked because of their name. Honestly, I don't care what you name your kid, but I would not name my kid this.

I named one of my dolls Elfa when I was little. I thought I made the name up and used it because the doll looked a bit like an elf. I don't think this name would work on a real person. I prefer Alfa or Alfhild, which sound similar.
