So beautiful. It's like it was pulled right out of a fairytale. It's absolutely perfect. It has so many beautiful nicknames to go with it. That just makes it all the better.

A lot of people think it's overly elaborate but I think it's one of the prettiest names ever.

One of my school friends' little sister's name is Ekaterine and her nickname is E-kat. I think that's so unique and cute and a welcome change from all the deviations on Kate/Katie.

The only thing bad about this name is that the spelling makes me want to pronounce it like "EE-Katerina".
