Eilert Sundt (1817 – 1875) was a Norwegian theologist and sociologist, known for his work on mortality, marriage and other subjects among the working class. He was an early pioneer of the field of sociology in Norway.
Eilert Bøhm (1900 – 1982) was a Norwegian gymnast who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics. He was part of the Norwegian team, which won the gold medal in the gymnastics men's team, free system event.
Eilert is used as a masculine name in West Frisia (located in The Netherlands) and East Frisia (located in Germany), but also here and there in The Netherlands itself (often by non-Frisian parents that simply have a love for Frisian names).
