Looks and sounds feminine. Sorry, but what's the nickname for this; Annie?! Yeah that should work smoothly for a boy... Annie, despite the name being said as Ay-nuh. Ay-nuh is not feminine.

Ending in "a" makes this a sissy name for a boy. I prefer Ian for boys and Ianna for girls.
How does a name ending with an a suddenly make it for girls or "sissy-boys"? It's not like if you name a boy Eanna he's going to be a sissy by default. Not ALL masculine names that end with an a sound better on girls. Does Ira or Ezra sound nice on a girl? No, but that's just my opinion :) I'm sure that if you lived in a country where names ending with a were considered masculine, you'd think differently.
