I really like this name. I’m a fan of Dmitri anyway and this spelling is so cool and different. I don’t think I would actually use it on a child because I live in the USA and most people wouldn’t be able to pronounce it. Dima is such a cute nickname too.
I really like this name. I'd dare say it's superior to the Russian "Dmitri" and all its variations from Eastern Europe. The "o" ending gives Dmytro quite a masculine quality, too.Dmytro sounds strong and a bit industrial, as though its bearer would be a hard worker, someone you could trust.
