I like the sound and spelling of the name. It sounds very feminine and delicate to me.I might be biased though, as I recently met a Divya and I think I 'like' her!
Divya is also used as a masculine name, especially in Nepal and Bangladesh. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine". Divya is also Bhutanese, Urdu, Bengali, Nepali, and Thai.Scripts: ڈیویا (Urdu), দিব্যা (Bengali), दिव्य (Nepali)Source: https://forebears.io/forenames/divya
3/1/2021 CorrectionDivya is also used as a masculine name in South Asian languages, especially in Nepal and Bangladesh. A variant of Divya used for both genders is Dibya (Bengali and Nepali). However, Divya is more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine". Divya is also Bhutanese, Urdu, Bengali, Nepali, and Thai. A known male bearer of this name is Divya Narendra, an American businessman.Scripts: ڈیویا (Urdu), দিব্যা (Bengali), दिव्य (Nepali)Sources: https://forebears.io/forenames/divya https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divya_(name) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divya_Narendra https://forebears.io/x/forenames/dibya
