I think it's a really beautiful-sounding name! There is something almost seductive about it, but I agree with one of the previous commenters that it could fit a woman of any age really well. With how many Anglophone parents find names like Elara, Lora etc. appealing, I'm surprised this one isn't more frequently used in the English-speaking world yet. It's a really sweet name with something slightly mysterious to it.
While Delara is certainly not a standard Polish name, it has been in use in Poland. As of January this year, there are 3 women named Delara in Poland.
The sound and meaning are very beautiful. I’ve never heard this one before, I love it.
Delara, the deceased love interest of Nadakhan the Djinn in Ninjago: Skybound. Nya Smith looks like her.
I love this name, both the Anglicized and traditional Persian pronunciations are sweet, smoky, and almost a little flirty in the best possible way. It works on both a little girl (think of the nicknames!) and a spunky teen and a confident adult woman. Ugh! I love it so much!
Beautiful name with a beautiful meaning. I love “love” meaning names.
Beautiful.
This is the only entry where you transcribe the Persian word دل as 'del' instead of 'dil'. In other entries (namely that of Avtandil), you transcribe it as 'dil'. Technically, neither are incorrect, but I think that it should be made more consistent. [noted -ed] Perhaps you could specify (or keep in mind) that 'del' is the modern form of 'dil', as is shown on Wiktionary:https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%AF%D9%84#Persian (in English)On a related note: you categorise the Del- form of a Dil- name as a variant transcription (see Delshad). It might be more correct to list it as a modern form (or modern transcription) instead, since the Dil- form is the older form (if the above information on Wiktionary can serve as any indication).
