I have a friend called Duc who is from Vietnam.He pronounces his name 'dook' (rhymes with 'book'), not like 'duck' or 'Duke'.

I have a friend named Duc. It is pronounced DUCK, as in the waterfowl that makes the quack sound.It is NOT pronounced like the English name Duke.
