Actually, the French male form of Cyril is simply Cyril, pronounced see-REEL. Cyrille may be the feminine form, although I've never seen it in use.

No, the French masculine form is Cyrille as stated, but people who choose this name for their son nowadays tend to prefer the spelling Cyril. I never heard of a female Cyrille, so if it exists, it is indeed very rare.
