Christabel Chamarette, sometimes Christabel Bridge, is an Australian former politician. She was a Greens Senator for Western Australia from 1992 to 1996.
Christabel is a name that I’ve never been exposed to irl. I honestly have to say that I love it! It would be a nice alternative to Isabella or Isabelle.
I think Christabel is a wonderful name. I hate the nickname Chrissy though, I go by Christa or Bella. I like that my name is uncommon, it's a lot easier when there's not 50 other people with your name in the school.
I love this name so much! I really like rare and exotic names, and Christabel is so princess-like and beautiful! I also like it spelled a little differently and with an o- Cristobel.

Sounds made up. I don't really like it, although I love Christopher.

A unique, pretty name. It sounds poetic to me. I love this as a character name.
This is pretty much my favorite girls' name. It's so delicate and princessy. I guess the girl could be called Chris if she's a tomboy. I go by Christie so the girl would probably be called Kit to avoid confusion with myself. Kit is the best nickname for Christabel.
Absolutely love this name! Love the way it rolls around your tongue, how it sounds, the meaning behind it, too. Beautiful! I would definitely name my first daughter this, or maybe Christabella. :)
Personally don't really like the name Christabel, but I do like it when it is spelt with a K at the beginning and Bella at the end, which altogether spells out Kristabella. I think this variant both sounds and looks pretty.
