This is a good name... if you are Jesus. Otherwise it's a no from me. Chris, Christian and Christopher are all perfectly fine names, so why not just use them instead and save your kid some name-related hardships in the future.

Okay, if you pronounce it CHRIS-t, like the beginning of Christopher, it's not so bad. But you should probably spell if differently or just use Christopher when you write down your name.

The bassist from a 90's grunge rock band was called 'Krist'. Though this name would be okay if it had no ties to Jesus Christ, it would be like another nickname for Christopher, but then again the whole Jesus Christ thing really makes me dislike the name (no offense to Jesus).
