She appeared in his songs "Phantom Thief Kubozono Chiyoko Absolutely Never Makes a Mistake", "Year 3, Class C-14, Kubozono Chiyoko's Joining of the Cabinet" (the most popular in the series), and "Kubozono Chiyoko VS. Mecha Kubozono Chiyoko".

Chiyoko was extremely common in Japan in the early 1900s, together with Chiyo.It reached #1 in 1917 and #2 in 1915, 1916, 1919, 1921 and 1923. It was last in the top 10 in 1926. Even though Chiyo was originally more common, Chiyoko managed to surpass it in popularity several times. 1915 saw Chiyo at #1 and Chiyoko at #2. After that Chiyoko was consistently more popular than Chiyo with Chiyo falling out of the top 10 after 1918 and Chiyoko remaining until 1926.It is spelled 千代子 (thousand + generation + child).

Chiyoko Shimakura was a female enka singer and TV presenter in Japan. She was considered "the Goddess of Enka". Chiyoko was born in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, Japan. In 1954 Chiyoko won the 1st prize of the Columbia Music Entertainment singers competition. In 1955, she made her recording début with the single "Konoyo no Hana". She was an Enka singer who appeared in Kohaku Uta Gassen, starring 35 times. However, she forgot her song lyrics in 1996. She participated again in the Kohaku in 2004.
Chiyoko Kawashima is a former Japanese voice actress. She retired from voice acting in 2001; her final role was that of Kusakabe Maron's mother in Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne.
Chiyoko is the given name of the character Chiyoko Fujiwara, a reclusive, retired actress, in "Sennen Joyū", a surreal animated film directed by Satoshi Kon. The meaning of her name, "child of a thousand generations", holds a special significance in the film, as the events of the storyline span a millennium (and beyond) of Japanese history.
