Dame Charmian O'Connor, DNZM, CBE, JP (née Bishop), is a New Zealand physical organic chemist. She became the first female professor of chemistry at the University of Auckland in 1986, and retired in 2004.
Charmian Clift (1923 – 1969) was an Australian writer. She was the second wife and literary collaborator of George Johnston.In November 2023 it was announced that Clift was one of eight women chosen to be commemorated in the second round of blue plaques sponsored by the Government of New South Wales.
