Candis

Candis Callison is a Canadian environmental journalist and academic of journalism, who works as an associate professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC), affiliated both with the School of Journalism, Writing, and Media and the Institute for Critical Indigenous Studies at UBC. She is a member of the Tahltan people from northwestern British Columbia.

Candis Mosely Pettway (November 25, 1924 – May 22, 1997) was an American artist. She is associated with the Freedom Quilting Bee and the Gee's Bend group of quilters, alongside her daughters Qunnie Pettway, Sally Mae Pettway, and Edwina Pettway.
