Camilo Madrigal is the supporting character in Disney's 2021 animated feature film Encanto. The middle child of Pepa and Félix, he was gifted with the ability to shapeshift. He's my fave character!

Camilo Castelo Branco was a prolific Portuguese romantic author, born in 1825, in São Miguel de Seide, Famalicão. He studied Medicine, only briefly, before dedicating himself to writing. Castelo Branco published his first book in 1851. He was arrested for adultery, in 1860, only to be released under the king's orders, in 1861. Between 1862 and 1863, he published 11 romances and novels, quickly rising to fame. He was the first "professional" Portuguese writer. Finally, blind and unable to continue his career as an author, he committed suicide, on June 1st 1890.
This name is very interesting since it is not at all common, least of all, here in the states. However, I am not exactly certain on the commonality of this forename in Spanish speaking countries. It could be more common in some regions while not in others.
