I really like this same. It is very pretty, delicate and romantic.

I love this name. It sounds prettier in Spanish but I like it in English also. In Spanish the double L is pronounced more like a Y. In Spanish camilla means a wheeled hospital stretcher. So I'd never use the double L.
Hi, so my name is actually Camila and it’s from Colombia. Some people are saying how they don’t like it like that and like it spelt with 2 L’s, and that has always been an annoyance because in most of Latin America double L is pronounced ‘ju’ which I find annoying when people spell my name with two Ls but I really do love the name because it a pretty, elegant, simple name.
I think Camila is a beautiful name. I must admit that this is my favorite spelling, but I like the “Camilla” spelling as well. Its meaning: “Helper to the priest” is very cool too. I also appreciate its nickname potentials, Cam and Cami (for a tomboyish edge) and Mila and Millie (for a girly-girl charm). I love the French “Camille” too. Overall, I think Camila is a very nice name.
Okay first of all, the people who think it’s better with double L, you're wrong. If you speak Spanish and are 97% Mexican you would know that the double L makes the Y sound like (Camiya) so it would make more sense if it was one L. And my name is Camila so...

I like Camila (kah - mee - luh) better than Camilla (kah - mill - uh), and I like both spelled with C's instead of K's in general, though Kamilah is nice. I only see Camila as a Hispanic name, though.
