Very cool name, one of my favs.
Actually rather pleasing. Sounds old and regal.
A variant of this name is 'Brynmore'. It was my great-grandfather's name.
Shockingly enough, I am rather pleased with this name, "Brynmor." I bet my money on it that the reason is likely because I am an avid fan of J.R.R. Tolkien's genius works... A handful of his created languages possess near Welsh-like phonologies. Can you not see a character bearing this title in his world etched of ink? I certainly am able. Regardless of that fact, I would never dub a child this. I am not of Welsh heritage, as a large reason.
Of the same derivation is the name of Bryn Mawr College outside of Philadelphia.
