Bryce is so charming. I know a Bryce from school who will help others and is also very smart. If I have a son, I will name him Bryce. This is definitely not a girl's name.

I feel like this name gets a lot of crap because it's portrayed as a bad guy name in popular media these days. It does have a potentially douchey ring to it but give these guys a chance lol. I found one that's the best person I've ever met. People around us generally think he is extremely competent and popular in a humble way.
Captain Bryce McCormick was in control of American Airlines flight 96 when the DC-10's rear cargo door ripped off due to design errors in-flight over Windsor, Canada. Despite the loss of some flight control, Captain McCormick and his crew managed to return to Detroit without incident. Sadly, the issue wasn't remedied properly, and it struck a Turkish Airlines flight just 2 years later, claiming all 346 lives on that flight.

Anyone who names his daughter Bryce should really reconsider his life choices. It’s disgusting, trashy and horrendous. Do people not realize it’s a boys name?

I know a girl named Bryce. She hates it and wished she just had a proper feminine name. Bryce is okay and charming on a boy. Girl? Not so much.

Bryce is a really good name but I wouldn't suggest naming your child this now a days.
Ooh lol, who else read Crescent City by Sarah J Maas? The protagonist is named Bryce, and she's a girl! I can't think right now of Bryce as a male name.

A better version of the name Bruce. Okay for both genders I guess but more suited for boys.
Bryce is so handsome on a boy! But it is too masculine on a girl. It is a male name, not unisex! Imagine how many times the poor girl will be mistaken for a boy.

I love Dallas, but not too sure about Bryce... I think it is the y in the middle of the name that I dislike. Bryce Dallas Howard is one of my favourite actresses, so Dallas is on my list for a girl. Blake seems potentially prettier and more physically appealing than Bryce, which feels too much of a male name, in my opinion.
Bryce Dallas Howard is an American film actress, director, producer, and writer. Howard attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, but would ultimately leave before graduating to take on roles on Broadway. During a performance of As You Like It where Howard portrayed Rosalind, she caught the attention of director M. Night Shyamalan, and he cast her in what would be her breakout film, the psychological thriller The Village and then in the fantasy thriller Lady in the Water. Her performance in Kenneth Branagh’s film adaptation of As You Like It earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. In 2006, she co-wrote and directed the short film Orchids.
Bryce Papenbrooke is a voice actor who mostly does animes. He's known for his roles as Kazuto Kirigaya/Kirito in Sword Art Online and Eren Jaeger in Attack On Titan.
In our family, Bryce originated as a surname. Thus, when Mary BRYCE, my great grandmother, married Alexander WEIR, every first born son was called Alexander Bryce Weir. Both families were mining families, mostly in Lanarkshire.
Bryce Papenbrook is an American voice actor, best known for working in anime and video games. He provided the English voices of Eren Jaeger in Attack on Titan and Henry in Fire Emblem: Awakening.
I named my youngest daughter Bryce after Bryce Dallas Howard. I live in England and is very uncommon around here but I absolutely love the name for my little girl. Although it has mixed feelings about it, whenever I tell anyone what her name is they all respond with "aww that's lovely and different" just the response I wanted.
Ugh, the comment above me demonstrates a perfect example of stupitidty. Naming your kid after some celebrity; someone you will NEVER see in person and doesn't even know your existence is just senseless. And the fact that just because her name is Bryce, that the name is OK for females. Lady, you gave your daughter a masculine name and there is nothing that will ever change that (unless you plan to change her name, of course, which I very much doubt) Bryce Dallas Howard- whole name is masculine! I hate to think about how many times she was mistaken for a boy while growing up. There's not a single feminine name she can fall back on. The poor thing.

It's actually a unisex name. Just because I chose a different name as I liked it, I'm stupid. You obviously don't get out much... PS, I actually met Bryce Dallas Howard at the premiere of the village. I'd also like to point out that I do not like boring common names for my children. Different always gets you noticed!
I can't say I'm particularly fond of this name. Though it may just be because I have a negative association with a Bryce. But even if I didn't have that association, it just comes off to me as a shrill sounding name.
African American's have a unique heritage and so what we name our children will be what we deem. Bryce means, Third Son with Favor; charismatic and charming.
If we ever have a second son this will most like be the middle name or at least a variant- Briace this may seem trendy or kr8ve but it has a deeper meaning than that; Bruce is my father's name and Brian is his father's middle and grandfathers first name. Plus it looks and goes well with the first name choice.

I think Bryce is a very nice, underused name that would work on a baby, a boy, and a man. It has a nice sound, and I definitely prefer this spelling over Brice, since that looks like "rice" with a 'b' stuck on the front of it. One of the few cases where I think that replacing the 'i' with a 'y' actually serves the name better.

There's a character on the show Chuck named Bryce Larkin portrayed by Matthew Bomer.
Bryce Courtenay, born Arthur Bryce Courtney (b. 1933). A South-African-born naturalised Australian novelist and one of Australia's most commercially successful authors. His first book "The Power of One" (1989) has been made into a film.
Well, it beats the middle-aged trashy macho dimwit name Bruce and the name Bryson, which sounds too surname-y and makes me think of Bill Bryson. I prefer this spelling to Brice, Brice looks a bit pretentious to me for some reason. However, this doesn't sound like the name of a particularly smart or mature guy.
Bryce Timberline is one of the Timberline twins in the Red Rock series of mystery books by Jerry B. Jenkins. His twin sister's name was Ashley. I love this name, it's sweet.
