Bradford

Last name, not a given name.

Seems more like surname material, same with Stanford. It would make more sense to name your son Bradley or Stanley probably. Not bad names though.

It sounds somewhat pretentious, but the guy can always go by Brad. I hate the idea of guys named Bradford going by Ford. It sounds like a surname and reminds people of the car. No way.

I think the name Bradford is a great name. You could use either Brad or Ford as a nickname.

I'd like to name my son this but I'd prefer the nickname Ford because it sounds less Hollywood than Brad.

This is a classy name. You don't find a lot of people named Bradford.
