Bettie Sue Masters is an American biochemist. She is an adjunct professor at Duke University known for her work on nitric oxide synthase and cytochrome P450 reductase. She was the 1992 recipient of the FASEB Excellence in Science Award, and has been elected as a member of the National Academy of Medicine and as a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
This spelling is quite beautiful and cuter than the more classic Betty (no offense to any Betty-lovers!). I think Gina Bettie, Bettie Rose, Laura Bettie and Bettie Samantha sound nice.
In 2018, 72 is the most common age for an American (U.S.) Bettie who is registered female with the Social Security Administration. It is the 1308th most common female first name for living U.S. citizens.

There are so many Bettys that I have no association for it, but this name will always mean Bettie Page for me.
