Berry Francis Berry, known as Berry F. Berry, (1852 –1926) was an English painter and book illustrator. Berry illustrated F. A. S. Reid's 1881 children's book Comic Insects, published by Frederick Warne. He contributed a painting to an 1882 book Bedford Park, celebrating the then-fashionable garden suburb of that name.
Imo this name is perfect for non binary people or people who don't consider themselves as part of the gender binary and instead want to be themselves. It's pretty much the equivalent of Bee, cute and sweet.
Nice but rare name for a boy. Berry Gordy is a cool namesake. I wouldn't use for a girl as it sounds too masculine and I only know of boys with this name. The name Berry is only really ever used for boys (not girls) looking at the statistics.

Berry Gordy, the founder of Motown Records. And yes, Berry is his real name.
I actually know a guy with this name, and he is, well, very strange. I don't know what his parents were thinking, but with a name like Berry it's no wonder the guy has issues. What a cruel thing to do to a little boy! If you like the name Barry stick to that spelling, please!
