In Israel Barak is used both as first and family name. And there are so many of them, that sometimes I do not know whom my interlocutor means.

I love this name. In David Edding's Belgariad and Mallorean books there are a man called Barak with red hair and is very big. In Leon Uris book Exodus there are a man with red hair and he is called Barak too.
