When I first started commenting here, I was shocked by the sheer number of people who judge foreign names based only on how they would sound to an English-speaking person. You would encounter several commenters who would say, "I don't like Aislinn, try Ashley!" or something stupid and prejudiced like that. Bahar is a very popular name in Turkey and Azerbaijan, where it means 'springtime'.
It’s also used in Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan. https://forebears.io/forenames/bahar [noted -ed]
This is used for one of the main characters in the book Caspian Rain by Gina Nahai, which is set in Iran.
Bahar is also used as a masculine name. However, it's more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine".

So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine", and the "Usage" of this name should be changed to read, "Persian, Turkish, Urdu". Some evidence for this is that Bahar is also used as a name element in unisex and masculine Persian, Turkish, and Urdu names; such as Golbahar (Persian), Gülbahar (Turkish), Gulbahar (Urdu), etc.Scripts: بہار (Urdu)Sources: https://forebears.io/forenames/bahar
Bear in some sort of accent. Lol.
Unfortunately, this name reminds me of Bahar Mustafa, and she's a terrible, racist person. I'd avoid it, but I do like the meaning.
I find this name so pretty and fresh sounding.
Pronounced ba-HAR (the last syllable rhymes with 'car'). [noted -ed]
Bahar also means "sea" in Arabic.
This name is also Turkish, with the same meaning. [noted -ed]
