What is the commentor above even talking about? This name is NOT masculine! It’s not a male name. It doesn’t even look or sound masculine. It’s a feminine name. Only for girls/women. It’s a very rare & unique name. I love it. It sounds beautiful & it has a beautiful meaning. The origins of the name are Arabic & Swahili. In Swahili it means “Gift, Present” & in Arabic it means “Gift from God”.

The gender of the name "Atiya" is by far masculine not feminine. Some women, a few number, bear the name but that doesn't make it feminine. [noted -ed]
