This name is the latinized form of Argos, but you have not created a separate entry for Argos.Usually, you make sure to create an entry for both the original Greek form and its latinized form.I am not sure whether in this case you forgot to do that, or made a conscious decision not to. But if the former applies, then I guess you could view this comment as a reminder of sorts! :) [noted -ed]
In the game World of Warcraft by Blizzard Entertainment the name Argus was used for the final villain in the last raid of the game's Legion expansion. Sadly however, he didn't have 100 eyes.
This is also a type of lizard. The Argus Monitor from Australia is one of the largest domesticated lizards in the world and can be owned right here in the U.S. Although it is not quite as popular as Savannah monitors, it is quite known.
Another HP-related Argus: Argus Pyrites, who was edited out of the final books. He was originally the person who told Voldemort where the Potters were hiding, and he is the author of Alchemy, Ancient Art and Science.
