Anubis is also a semi-moody and arrogant teenager in Rick Riordan's new book the Red Pyramid. He gives the name Anubis a whole new meaning, he makes it more modern and cooler. I don't know if I would name a kid this though, maybe a middle name?

I love this name but could never imagine naming a person Anubis. Very cool for a dog though.

The name Anubis was the name of the Pharoah's uncle. He was a great part in the Pharoah's life.
