This name is one of the few that has been particularly popular in one state of the United States -- in this case the state is Georgia, probably because there is a fairly well-to-do section of Atlanta called Ansley.
I think Ansley is a pretty cute name! I think it would suit either gender beautifully, but I'd probably prefer it for a boy. It's sweet and soft but strong at the same time. Lovely :)
I love this name! I'm writing a novel, and my main character is named Ansley. I think this name goes really well with the name Everly. It reminds me of stars.

I think the pronunciation of this name would be just weird. Ann-slee!

I really like this name. The spelling kind of makes me think of angel. I love the way it sounds. It sounds feminine and beautiful to me, even if it was originally meant to be a last name.
My opinion on Ansley: Ugly, tacky, unattractive, masculine, screams "surname." But I will admit that I much prefer Ansley over "Ainsley"About the only thing that could salvage this name are the nicknames of Ann\Anne and Annie to back it up.

Ansley is a rare and beautiful name to me. I have never met anyone with this spelling, and I wish I was named it...
