"Anselma" is a song written by César Suedan and Guadalupe Trigo, produced by T-Bone Burnett and Steve Berlin, and performed by American band Los Lobos for their EP...And a Time to Dance in 1983. I think this is a strange, quirky and unusual girls' name; quite usable though, I think; better used as a middle than a first name. :)

I adore the boy's name "Anselm", but the girl's version sounds too much like "Aunt Selma". Just add "dear old" before this name and you see my problem with it.
