Not to mention that -sch- is more natural for the Dutch language than -sh-. Both represent the sound /ʃ/ in this case, but spelling it as -sh- does not natively occur in Dutch → only -sch- and -sj- do. The spelling -sh- is a foreign influence, which is not surprising here, as the name is ultimately of Russian origin and was introduced to the Dutch-speaking world during the Cold War.
