Pronounced correctly it should sound like 'Aneeta'. But a lot of people leave off the first vowel; the letter 'A' and just say 'Neeta' which is fine but it's a mispronunciation. The worst thing is how Americans ridicule the name saying 'I need a...' To those people, I would say, 'Learn to read.'
